THIS HISTORIC FARMHOUSE was purchased in the 1920s by the family of Norman S Woolworth, notable in business for his international five-and-dime chain. As part of a 2000-acre estate, the house and its barn, built in the 1950s, became famous in the harness-racing world for producing several winning horses. The horses trained on acres of carriage trails around the estate and the lakes – the Waters Run – and were well cared for in one of the largest stables in the region.
Now, after passing through the lives of several loving families, the property has reopened in 2026 as Waters Run Bed and Breakfast and The Barn at Waters Run. We are so excited to share this place with you.
