Set in the rolling hills of central Maine, surrounded by green fields and sparkling lakes, The Barn at Waters Run is the perfect place for your wedding, party, or special event. Our mid-century barn was built on the former Woolworth estate to house champion harness racing horses. Steeped in history and architecturally stunning, The Barn has a truly unique blend of rustic New England charm and high-society style. The Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests, with a commercial kitchen on site for all of your catering needs.

INDOOR SPACE includes a beautiful grand entryway with customizable spaces for any needs, as well as a large open dining and dancing area with views across the meadow to the lake. Upstairs is another large open area with vaulted ceilings, for gathering, dancing, or whatever you can dream up. We have a fully equipped indoor bar and concession area, mens’ and womens’ bathrooms, plus additional storage space as needed.

OUTDOOR SPACE connects effortlessly through multiple access points. Our expansive lawn and garden can accommodate additional event space, with the option for a large tent, an outdoor ceremony, dining or dancing.

With available lodging on-site for up to 24 guests, and another waterfront housing compound 5 minutes away for up to 11 guests, The Barn at Waters Run offers a complement of event planning services, all in one place.

RENTAL LODGING FOR ADDITIONAL GUESTS is available at our other property, about 1.5 miles from Waters Run. These fully independent houses are located on a private cul-de-sac with direct waterfront access and a private dock on Annabessacook Lake.
